Pro Tip: Apply Online Before You Arrive
Save time by completing your application online before you get to Vegas. You'll get a confirmation number, then just show up at the bureau together to pick up your license. Most couples are in and out in under 30 minutes.
Start Your Application Online →Step-by-Step Guide
Apply Online (Recommended)
Complete the pre-application online before your trip. Both parties fill out their own information. Make sure names match exactly as shown on your IDs. Save your confirmation number. Your application stays in the system for one year.
Visit the Marriage License Bureau Together
Both of you must appear in person at the Clark County Marriage License Bureau. Bring your confirmation number (or just your names) and valid photo IDs. No appointment needed. Typical wait time is under one hour.
Pay the $102 Fee
Cash or credit/debit card accepted. Note: credit/debit cards have an additional processing fee (2% + $1.25). Personal checks are not accepted. Verify all your information is correct before leaving.
Say "I Do!"
Take your marriage license to your ceremony. You'll need at least one witness (someone other than the officiant). Your officiant will file the marriage certificate with the county within 10 days. There's no waiting period in Nevada, so you can get married the same day you get your license.
Get Your Marriage Certificate
Once filed, you can order certified copies online or in person. Each certified copy costs $20. This is your official proof of marriage.
